Children’s experiences during the early years mould their abilities and attitudes towards learning. Right from the beginning, kindergarten teachers encourage a love of learning that will stay with children throughout their lives.
In Kindergarten, children develop the foundations in the areas of Arithmetic, Reading, Writing and Problem Solving. This core knowledge constitutes the basis for future learning endeavours.
Learning experiences in all areas of the kindergarten curriculum encompass and provide for the development of the whole child and promote critical thinking, problem solving and self-management skills.
Although our Kindergarten curriculum focuses on Language Arts and Mathematics, other areas such as French, Science, Social Studies, Computers, Drama, Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health are also emphasized.
