We are pleased to announce that Rowntree Montessori Schools has been awarded the 2017 Readers Choice Platinum (#1) Award for BEST Private School! This is the fifth consecutive year that RMS has been recognized with this highest distinction from readers of the Brampton Guardian. It is with great appreciation that we recognize and thank each student and family for contributing to our success. Since 1969 we have been fortunate enough to work with teachers and administrators who together put forth their best efforts to provide every child that enters our doors the best possible, academically progressive, and well-rounded education in an atmosphere that is supportive, encouraging and enjoyable. Our collective passion is for excellence in education, and we will continue to offer an advanced curriculum that meets and surpasses the standards set by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
This year we have launched the BYOC (Bring your Own Chromebook) programme with our Grades 6-8 students, and so far it is a success inside and outside of the classroom. Students have the ability to master skills through these educational tools and connect with teachers through myRMS. MyRMS was also put into practice recently as our new cutting edge teaching, learning and communications platform. We hope that this will further enhance the RMS experience for our families, allowing seamless communication with teachers and access to classroom materials from home.
We will continue to support 21st Century teaching and learning at our campuses, and challenge ourselves to be the best Private School in Brampton, so we can continue to Nurture Tomorrow’s Achievers.
