The first heavy snowfall marked the unofficial start of winter! At RMS, we love winter! Today, our Central Park Grade 2 students bundled up and headed to the school playground to enjoy the light and fluffy snow. It was the perfect day to build a snowman as a class project. It was not only a great teamwork activity, but a fun and effective way to teach winter related vocabulary words in French. The project was finalized with the student’s creating artwork about the activity, along with Grade 2 French instructions on how to build a “Bonhomme de Neige”. It was a fun learning day! Une journée d’ apprentissage amusant. Did you know that RMS students begin French Language studies staring in Pre-Kindergarten?
