at our Academy campus, 3 Sunforest Drive, Brampton

Rowntree Montessori Schools cordially invites your family to joins us for this information session.

Who should attend: Parents/guardians who have a child entering Grade 1 in September 2014.(Parents with children entering other grades are welcome to attend as well).

Grade 1: Public or Private?

Making a Most Critical Decision in your Child’s education.

-Public school Process and French Immersion

-Presentation on the Academy Curriculum and our enriched educational Programmes

-School Tour

-Meet our Grade 1 teachers and Administrative staff

-Learn about our registration process and options

NOTE: Supervision is available for your child(ren) while you attend. The presentation is approximately an hour long and the guided school tour typically takes 15-20 minutes.

Nutcracker float wins 1st runner-up Chairman’s Award

We are delighted to announce that Rowntree Montessori Schools (@RowntreeSchools) has been awarded the 1st Runner-up to the Chairman’s Award (2nd place) for its float in the Brampton Board of Trade (BBoT) 2013 Santa Claus Parade. We would like to thank the BBoT Santa Claus Parade (@BramptonSanta) Judges for recognizing our ‘Nutcracker’ entry.

Our entry featured a number of elements from the Nutcracker such as Ballerinas, Nutcrackers, Toy Soldiers, and Jack-in-the-box while also incorporating” ‘Twas the night before Christmas”. Children and staff were dressed in a variety of costumes for the above mentioned elements and enjoyed music from the Nutcracker along the record setting crowd along the parade route. Our marchers dressed in teddy bear pyjamas depicted the children who were having the dream and continued to share the good cheer, excitement and spirit of the season at the street level.

Our sincere appreciation and thanks goes out to our sponsors Moore Brothers Transport, Long & McQuade, RONA and McCarthy Uniforms for their support.

Hope to see you at the Santa Claus Parade!

Only one more sleep until the Brampton Santa Claus parade tomorrow (Saturday November 16th 5:00pm)!

We are putting on the final touches on our float today. Everyone is excited and looking forward to a beautiful and memorable parade day. Here are some pictures from last year’s parade.

Hopefully you plan on going to the parade which starts at 5pm sharp and cheering on our students, staff, and parents as we participate for the 9th consecutive year in the Brampton Board of Trade Santa Claus parade. Don’t be late if you want to see us as we are early in the parade.

The Board of Trade has introduced a fan’s favourite award this year! Just log onto the Brampton Board Of Trade Santa Claus Parade’s social sites  @BramptonSanta  ‏to vote for your favourite band and float on Sunday before 4pm!

Rowntree Montessori Schools has been recognized with 7 awards, including the Parade Chairman’s Award twice, in the 8 years they have participated in the Brampton Board of Trade Santa Claus parade @BramptonSanta
