Mrs. J. Baldassarre is the Principal of the Downtown Campus. She has been teaching at Rowntree Montessori Schools, Downtown Campus since March 2003 and in 2005 she was promoted to Vice Principal. Since her journey begun at Rowntree, she has had the pleasure of working with several different age groups beginning with toddler through to Senior Kindergarten. She holds an Early Childhood Education diploma from Sheridan College.
Mrs. J. Baldassarre believes that each child should be instilled with the love of learning. She feels that each child deserves to be given the opportunity to explore and discover their own passion for learning in their own unique way according to their own pace. Mrs. Baldassarre accepts that each child can and will simultaneously grow within an academic and Montessori environment in which he or she becomes a unique learner. Last but not least, Mrs. Baldassarre believes that learning takes place through concrete academic experiences in all areas of the student’s emotional and social development. Each child should have a sense of security and feel safe within their learning environment and Mrs. Baldassarre knows that RMS can provide this. She is honoured to be a part of your child’s life, to watch her students grow and develop into who they want to become.
