Students in the pre-school and elementary sections are accepted into the program anytime throughout the year. We offer a flexible program and students who are 12 months and older may attend a 3-5 full days or half days per week at all the pre-school campuses. The Academy campus solely offers full day programs to students who are 3 years and older and who are fully toilet trained. All locations offer extended care (7:00am – 6:00pm) outside of the academic day (9:00am – 4:00pm).

Application Process Although we host a number of Open Houses throughout the year, please feel free to drop by ANYTIME for a tour at any of our campuses. We look forward to seeing you and sharing with you the school community we are so proud of. When taking a tour of the campus you are interested in, you will receive an information package containing information you will need to help make your decision. At that time, you may also request an application package which will contain all of the forms you require to apply. When submitting your completed application, you will need to provide copies of the following: Proof of Citizenship, Health Card, Immunization records, and report cards from the last two years for students who have previously attended an elementary program elsewhere. We also require your signatures on a financial agreement with the school as well as all the required payments. Students applying for our Junior and Senior Kindergarten programmes will be required to attend the campus of their choice for a ½ day trial in the classroom. The student will be assessed on how they fit into the programme, socially, emotionally and academically. For students applying for Grade 1 and higher, an entrance interview with the Principal will be completed. Upon completion of the interview the Principal/Registrar will discuss the results with parents to determine whether it is in the child’s best interests to enroll at Rowntree Montessori Schools. Following a successful assessment/ interview, new students will be admitted based on openings available.
